Exciting Opportunities for Volunteers

Immediate Autumn 2014 Volunteering Opportunities >>

Volunteering Opportunities - The Hunger Project UK Autumn 2014

Volunteers are at the heart of our grassroots work to end hunger sustainably. We’ve trained 395,000 volunteer leaders who are training many millions of women and men to become food secure. Where We Work

With more than 1000 volunteers for every staff member in our programme countries, we’re passionate about applying these lessons to our work in UK by expanding our Team Hunger of highly skilled and effective volunteer leaders.

Our work is not finished, whilst we are supporting many millions of partners training to become food secure, 842 millon women, children and men continue to get up and go to bed hungry. Two million children will die this year from chronic hunger.

We Need Your Support

If you want to make a tangible difference in the world, your time volunteering with The Hunger Project will do just that. It will give you a sense of achievement, motivation and fulfilment. It’s also worth mentioning that voluntary work in this environment is a positive bonus on any CV.

With only two staff in the UK, we require enthusiastic people with experience in communications – PR, Marketing, Fundraising, Social Media, WordPress Development, Graphic Design – to offer their services pro-bono as a Supporter, Volunteer or Ambassador across the UK.

So if you’re able to give time, are an energetic and innovative individual, with excellent communication skills and the passion to make things happen, get in touch.

If you’re unable to give time you can still support our work by giving monthly or by giving some love and sharing?
