Jade Johnson teams up with The Hunger Project to End Poverty

Now in its fourth year, Live Below the Line inspires action for the world’s poorest people. By living on just £1 for food and drink for 5 days, participants raise both vital funds to support The Hunger Project’s programmes around the world and help change perspectives on the issues relating to extreme poverty.
This year’s campaign will take place from 28 April – 2 May 2014 with people across the UK being sponsored to live on just £1 a day. Funds raised for The Hunger Project will be used for sustainable development projects around the world that are mobilising people to end their own hunger and poverty in 15,000 village communities.
Following on from the success of last year, which raised over £2.7 million for anti-poverty initiatives worldwide (including nearly £1 million funds raised in the UK from 5,500 participants), with celebrity support from Bonnie Wright (Harry Potter), Tom Hiddleston (Thor), Arlene Phillips (Strictly Come Dancing), Joseph Morgan (Vampire Diaries), and Ben Affleck; this year’s campaign is set to be the biggest yet.
