Take part in all or part of a 177 mile walk along the Thames from the Cotswolds to the Greenwich Meridian for World Food Day with Hike4Hunger and raise money for food security in Malawi.

I think the temptation is to pretend that I’ve been doing it for ages, write a few hurried entries and pre-date them. ‘Oh yes I’ve been blogging for a long time, haven’t you seen it’. Well what’s the point of that?
Visiting Besease Palm Oil project

July 23rd, 2010. Posted by Mark Britton, Ghana Trip. We visited the Besease Community Centre Oil Processor Plant – a Palm Oil Project where we saw how this group of communities are using the proceeds from the oil sales to support the community.

July 22nd, 2010. Posted by Mark Britton, Ghana Trip. The physical building is just part of the five year Epicentre Strategy but a very tangible one. The whole ceremony lasted three hours and was a great opportunity for the whole community to celebrate their achievements.
